Quilted Bed Runner .

Started off by using a cream cotton sateen for the center a flower print fabric for the border .Trimmed and ironed with starch .Added the sandwich of wadding and backing fabric 
Next was to stitch in a few guide lines for the free form feathers .

 It was a case of filling in the space with adding extra branches as i went along .

Happy with this i continued until it was complete . then a filler design of stippling .


The entire design was quilted using a gold silk thread .

The outer border has been Quilted in one continuous line of free form feathers .
With still a little more to do .
